The Yorktown High School orchestra presents an evening of classics, new and old, Tuesday, June 5th at the school. The award winning performers will play selections from Rossini, Tchaikovsky, and Bartok, and will perform
a piece written for them by White Plains composer William Eckfield.
The evening also features senior solo performances, an orchestra tradition. Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" and a new favorite, "Pirates of the Caribbean" fill out a program that you just should not miss.
The always popular MESMS concerts are this year's finale. The 6th Grade Band and Orchestra perform Monday, June 11th and the 7th and 8th Grade Band and Full Chorus perform Tuesday, June 12th. Both concerts begin at 6:30 at the high school
