The Yorktown Central
School District energetically welcomes the Middle States accreditation for Growth Team to Yorktown High School for its final review in the recognition and accreditation process.
Middle States accredition is a prestigious designation for a high school, signifying educational excellence as a result of an extensive, multi-year peer review process. YHS has been working for seven years to meet Middle States standards in multiple areas including an increased student competency in technology, school community involvement and high academic achievement.
The team is spending three days evaluating YHS’ progress in these areas and will be conducting interviews and evaluating the school’s mission and culture.
