The Yorktown Central School District Board of Education adopted a budget for 2009-2010 that calls for a budget-to-budget increase of 1.6%, and a projected tax increase of 2.6%, one of the lowest in recent history. Voting on the $89,858,000 budget takes place May 19th from 7 am to 9 pm at the Mohansic Elementary School.
