Interscholastic Athletics

Athletics is a significant part of the Yorktown community.

More than 70% of the Yorktown high school student body participates on one or more teams during the course of the school year. Involvement in structured physical activities has proven to help students learn how to manage their time. Acquiring time management skills can lead to the development of mature and responsible adults.

The Yorktown high school coaching staff is a strong combination of young energetic coaches, and well seasoned veterans who work tirelessly to provide the best possible experiences for the community's most valuable asset.
