How to Enroll Your Child in School

All new entrants to school are required to submit proof of age and residence.

Your child may be admitted to kindergarten in September if his/ her fifth birthday occurs on or before December 1of that same year.

Registration for next year’s kindergarten will be held in the Spring. You may call the Office of Transportation (243-8016) to determine the name and location of the school your child will attend.

For kindergarten students registering during the regularly scheduled kindergarten registration, all information must be brought to the individual school at the time of registration. For any student registering at a time other than the regularly scheduled kindergarten registration, you must first call to set up an appointment at the Transportation/Census Office (243-8016) and to find out what proof of residence you will need.

Students previously in attendance in other school districts will be placed in grades in accordance with their prior school records and the judgment of the principal of the school in which they register for attendance.
