Capital Projects Phase II Progress

YHS Fitness Center - Updated 12/08

The High School will also receive a much-anticipated Fitness Center. The new structure will triple the current size of Yorktown’s fitness area and transform the fitness “room” into a fitness “center”. The new center will continue to offer free weights and training equipment but it will now include an extensive selection of cardio machines that were purchased through the generous support of the Curry Corporation. The fitness center is a reflection of the district’s commitment to build a fitness facility where our students and staff can make exercise part of their growth to live healthy lives.
