Phase II Progress

Phase II has been seen by many as the most exciting and long awaited change for the district in many years. Demolition began on Yorktown High School’s auditorium, locker rooms and fitness area this summer and the spaces as you can see in the photos have been gutted and prepared for the alteration work that is expected to continue through to the Feb./March part of the school year.

Phase II projects also includes plans to create a new softball field behind the high school gym. Additionally, plans are still being finalized over the future of the swimming pool in the middle school.
