Yorktown Huskers Sports Club
The club was founded in 1965 as the “Dads’ Football Club,” and has evolved into an All Sports athletic membership organization. The Huskers Club is a valuable adjunct to the Yorktown High School athletic program where students and interscholastic athletic programs are supported by the Club's fundraising efforts.
Money raised allows the Club to support the athletic department with purchases that enhance the current programs. Some of the past purchases have included wrestling mats, football sleds, weight room equipment, video and editing equipment, ice machines, team recognition banners, scoring table. The Club also helps to sponsor the YHS Senior Athletes Awards Dinner where awards and scholarships are presented to senior student-athletes.
Stop in and visit the Huskers Club School Store located across from the cafeteria where "Huskers" items can be purchased. Visit the webpage for a list of available items.
The Huskers Club meets at 7:30 pm on the second Tuesday of the month in the high school library. All dates are listed in the calendar pages. Membership dues are $35.00 per family per year, or $150 for a lifetime membership. Membership dues can be mailed to P.O. Box 32, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598, or can be paid at any monthly meeting. Every "Huskers Fan" is encouraged to join us.
