Summary of MESMS Summer Reading Requirements
- All students entering grades 6, 7, and 8 are expected to read 2 books this summer.
- One book must be chosen from List A (attached) according to grade level.
- For the LIST A book, students are expected to write 3 journal entries (attached).
- One book must be chosen from List B (attached).
- Students are expected keep a reading calendar (attached) for their “List B” book.
- The reading calendar and the journal are due the first week of school.
